Horizon Chine is a licensed French travel agency, registered and regulated under French law. Every trip we sell is covered by an official financial guarantee and liability insurance, entirely independent of our own company.
Why your trip is protected
We are officially registered with the French State
As a travel agency based in Rennes, France, we are required by law to be listed on the Register of Travel and Holiday Operators maintained by Atout France, the French national tourism development agency, before we can legally sell organized trips.
Your payments are protected by an independent guarantee fund
Should Horizon Chine ever be unable to complete a trip you've already paid for, APST — a professional guarantee fund required by French law — reimburses you directly. This guarantee is entirely independent of Horizon Chine and unaffected by our own financial situation.
We carry professional liability insurance
If an error on our part were to cause you a loss while organizing your trip, our insurer HISCOX covers the resulting professional civil liability, with a coverage ceiling well beyond what a small, self-insured operator could offer.
